A lump appears in the back of his throat and he finds himself squeezing her hand tighter at those words.
After he'd became blind, he'd been struggling to not feel that way, he didn't want to be a burden and he still doesn't. Which is why he feels awful that Pyra had to carry him to bed like this, but she doesn't fault him for it.
He can't fight like he'd used to anymore and Gladio had rubbed salt in that wound when he wanted to leave Ignis behind. But Prompto had defended Ignis then, claiming that it should be his choice to stay with them or not. Ignis had vowed to step down if he'd slowed them down at all, but thankfully it didn't come to that.
With every stumble he took back then, he'd felt Prompto's presence at his side, which is something that he's grateful for now, otherwise he would've taken quite the few tumbles down those hills that they were walking on. He never pushed Prompto away, just quietly accepted his help, even if he didn't ask for it.
Noctis had reminded him that he's not useless and what he's capable of. He needed to hear that, desperately, that he wasn't a burden to his family. Then he rescued Prompto out from the bitter cold, it gave him a fright to find him out there like that, but it gave him a few things to think about. That he can help his family members, that he's capable of rescuing the ones that he loves. He wants to help, to find his footing in feeling useful again. He'd just comforted Noctis a few hours ago, that was a rough talk, but one that they both needed to have.
He's not a burden and he's trying to remind himself that he can do things for others.
Look at him now, he pushed himself to his limits cause he wanted to keep taking care of Noctis and Prompto. He'd never think of them as a burden to him, no, never. He does these things for them cause they're family to him.
Family.
Pyra's family now and she's watching his back. That's... not a burden thing to do either, she helped him cause she cares about him. ]
Pyra... you dumped a bucket of ice on my head, thank you for reminding that, [ small pause ] I'm not a burden. You're absolutely right, we're family and we take care of each other.

I suspected as much when you mentioned that you dived deep into Noctis' soul, no human could do that. I still don't understand how you saved him, but you did.
[ At the last question, he falters a bit, taking a moment to think about the last time he's slept. He'd been napping here and there, but.... ]
... Three or four hours? Noct and Prompto can tell you that I'm usually the last one to bed and the first one up in the morning. [ Such as the power of Ebony and his way to make sure that breakfast was ready to go for them back when they were on the road. He usually gets a little more sleep than that though, he'd been too worried to get a full nights sleep. ]
