I dare say that I can make this at camp.

*Strikes troughs are things he won't be able to respond to, he's canonically blind! Will update if things happen in-game.

*Braille unlocked on his phone, Tony Stark unlocked it for him IC-ly. Ignis may be a bit slow at first at responding, but once he picks it up better he'll respond quicker. Ignis can text people now!

[ The smile is a small little victory in terms of how faint he had seemed before, and she'll take it. Walking over to his room, still carrying him, she turns slightly to the side to pull the handle of the door and open it, entering. ] Sorry about not knocking... [ She jests lightly, and then makes her way to his bed. Carefully, she rests him down upon it, looking over him.

Her brow lifts furrows with sympathy. He really does look tired... And it's difficult not to linger upon his scars about his eyes. He's given so much, and as a human, what scars he has doesn't fade. All of hers do, and with her energy recovered, she doesn't tire. Obviously, she should be pulling more weight.

In a warm tone she hopes to be reassuring. ]
Don't worry about dinner, okay? Or other chores. For the rest of the day. I'll take care of it.

[ She reaches for his hand, giving it a squeeze. ] You've really been working hard.

[ Pyra, with his hand still in hers, takes a seat upon the edge of the bed. The side dips with her weight, but she remains comfortable.

At his words, she frowns, briefly. Not at him, but at the thought that... he still wishes to help. He's apologizing, as if it's troublesome to help him When that's not the case at all. So she replies, insisting with a small, smile: ]
Family, remember? You're not a burden, and...

[ Pyra pauses, then continues. ]

I'm not human. [ There. She said it. She said something she hasn't said to anyone besides Noctis (even if others might have already figured it out). She waits a moment, clearing her head, and then speaks up again, making her tone as reassuring as possible: ] So I got lots of energy to spare. [ Handling all three of them at once shouldn't be a problem, not when her energy is regained.

Again, that "unfair" thought resurfaces. It's unfair to humans in general that they lack the power to care for others when they become weary themselves. Ignis probably wants noting more to be back up on his own too feet; his heart, his love is only limited by the physical body he has. ]

Just how much sleep did you get last night, anyway? I'd say you're overdue.

[ Perhaps they're too similar, where they think that being a burden automatically happens when a loved one must care for them-- as if it is such an imposition to ask for help, or to allow another to do that care. ]

Sometimes I do wonder, Ignis, [ She leans forward, placing her free hand to his forehead, as if she could feel for a fever. He had seemed pale in the kitchen, but perhaps that had only been a meager blood pressure at work. ] ....how much you've been carrying on your own this entire time.

[ For all of them, actually. Noctis. Prompto. Ignis. (And Gladio, for when she'll meet him eventually.) Others as well-- Regis, Ardyn, Luna... The list goes on. Here he is, exhausted but still wishing to work, only finally allowing someone else to care for him, and apologizing still.

Her hand upon his forehead drifts downward to the side of his face-- fingers placed upon his glasses. ]
May I?

[ --Remove them, that is. He won't be needing those to sleep! ]

[ With great care, Pyra removes his glasses, folding them and then setting them on his nightstand. She's seen his scars before-- with the old Ignis-- at least, what could be seen from what peeked out from behind the cover of the lens.

It's a little more dramatic up close and in person with the proverbial veil set away. The scars look like they had hurt whenever it was that he received them, and her fingers dust at his temple, as if she might trace just over the outlines of the markings.

And of course they look like scars one would receive from using the Ring of the Lucii. She knows a price must be paid, not specifically of eyesight, of course, but just of... wear on a person's life. Pain. Damage, hurt. ]

You've given so much, Ignis. [ She retracts her hand, breaking contact, and moves to bring the covers up to him. ] Maybe it's time to be generous to yourself, too.

[ He might need to be reminded later, and that's okay. She'll do the reminding as many times as it takes. ]

[ As he falls into slumber, Pyra lifts from the bed-- and only then, by the angle of her sight and the light from above, she sees a dampness upon his cheeks, a puffiness of his eyes.

He must have been crying, earlier... and he hadn't said a thing. He had continued to make dinner.

How had she not noticed before? What had he been crying over? Noctis, no doubt, and the state he is in...

Silently, Pyra turns off the light and exits his bedroom. Shutting the door behind her quietly, she makes to finish preparing the rest of the meal that he had started, hoping that she can cook something even half as comforting to them as Ignis could. ]
